The Process
Office Consult
All patients begin with an office consultation including a full head and neck exam in addition to a detailed discussion of sleep history, habits and patterns, and prior sleep apnea treatments.
Sleep Endoscopy
Many patients are recommended for sedated sleep endoscopy, a short 5-10 minute outpatient procedure where Dr. Hobelmann performs a dynamic exam under simulated sleep to evaluate the airway.
Treatment Options
Based on the patterns of airway collapse observed during sleep endoscopy, each individual is given treatment options that best treat the underlying causes of their particular sleep apnea.
